Beyond Soulful Boundaries: A Warrior’s Journey of Adventure, Justice, and Renewal

Hi, I’m Angel — traveler, yogi, adventurer, lifelong learner, and seeker of life’s most meaningful moments. This is my little corner of the world where ocean waves meet sandy yoga mats, where soulful exploration blends with thrilling adventures, and where boundaries are meant to be gently stretched… and joyfully crossed.

My journey is anything but ordinary. At nearly 60 years old, I’m embarking on a bold new path, going to college to major in Criminology & Criminal Justice and Human Resources. My life’s work has been shaped by decades of advocacy, legal analysis, nonprofit leadership, and a landmark role in the 2005 U.S. Supreme Court Commerce Clause ruling Gonzales v. Raich, which set national precedent.

As a disabled woman, I have faced and overcome challenges that could have easily stopped me. Instead, they fueled my resilience, sharpened my sense of justice, and deepened my commitment to living with integrity. My story is one of a strong woman warrior, a survivor, and a protector of others, blending courage with compassion, and determination with grace.

Here, you’ll find stories from my travels, insights from my yoga practice, reflections from my studies, and lessons learned from a lifetime of breaking barriers. Whether I’m paddleboarding at sunrise, practicing yoga on the beach, or advocating for justice, my mission is to inspire you to embrace movement, mindfulness, personal growth, and the beauty of venturing beyond what’s familiar.

So, roll out your mat, grab your sense of wonder, and join me as we explore adventures for the body, mind, and soul. Together, we’ll go Beyond Soulful Boundaries.

An Array of Resources Needed

At my age, winning grants and scholarships is vital, not only to ease the financial burden of pursuing my degrees in Criminology & Criminal Justice and Human Resources, but also to affirm that it’s never too late to invest in education, expand my opportunities, and make a meaningful impact in my community.

I’m seeking your support to take my career to the next level, opening doors to new opportunities where I can apply my skills, experience, and passion to create meaningful change.
